The Hercules PS Outdoor offers all the functionality and versatility of the Hercules PS Standard model, with one significant additional benefit. The Hercules PS Outdoor provides you with more stability outside. Rugged design for extra stability

The battery powered Hercules PS Outdoor has large, non-marking wheels and a wider wheelbase, making movement around the garden and outdoor areas effortless, safe and secure. Steps and slopes are negotiated with ease.

Fitted with a comfortable, upholstered seat and armrests, the Hercules PS Outdoor is highly manoeuvrable.

There are two models available.
  • The PS Outdoor 120 (designed to transport persons weighing up to 120 kg)
  • PS Outdoor 150 (designed to transport persons weighing up to 150 kg).

The Hercules PS Outdoor can be dismantled quickly and easily into 3 lightweight units by undoing a single lever. Pop it in your car, and now you can get out and about again too.
 

Trains, planes and automobiles
Ideal for both professional and personal use, the Hercules PS Outdoor is narrow enough to edge its way down the corridor on trains and gangways on planes. Just raise the armrest, and with one quick lift across to your seat, you are ready for take off! Your PS Outdoor can then be dismantled using a single lever and stored for arrival at your destination.

Get carried away!
The Hercules Personal Stairclimber brake wheels activate the powerful braking system inside the rims of the main wheels. Tilting the stairclimber back slightly gradually applies the brakes, so there is no risk of it running away with you on slopes and ramps.

Technical Data Applying to all models
 

Climbing speed:
Three speeds can be selected on the control cluster:

  • I = 10 steps per minute
  • II = 14 steps per minute
  • III = 18 steps per minute

Maximum step height:
205 to 230 mm (the maximum is achieved by tilting the stairclimber at a steeper angle)

Battery pack voltage and capacity:
24 VDC 5.2 Ah

Protection against overlanding:
1) Mechanical overload protection (sliding hub)
2) Electronic overload protection

Range per recharge:
Depends on weight of passengers and whether travelling up or down.

However, between 300 and 500 steps can be specified as a rough guide.
If the stairclimber is in constant use, (e.g. professional mobility services) a replacement battery pack can be fitted at any time.

A mobile charger is also available to rapidly charge the battery pack during the car journey.

Main wheels:
Non-marking grey tyres for extremely smooth operation.
PS-Outdoor wheels have a diameter of 260mm. All other models have a diameter of 200mm (outer track width 297mm).

Support wheels:
Also feature non-marking grey tyres and are permanently braked. Diameter 80mm.

Inside frame width of wheelchair:
Minimum 320mm (Hercules PS Adapt and Hercules PS Universal).
