PS Standard 130/160
The Hercules PS Standard is ideal for personal use around the home. It provides people with walking difficulties a new level of mobility. You can now move freely inside and outside the home, up and down steps and stairs.

With the help of the Hercules PS Standard you will experience your immediate surrounds in a new and exciting way.

With two models available, catering to passenger weights of up to 130 kg (PS Standard 130) and 160 kg (PS Standard 160), it is the most adept model for negotiating very steep and winding stairs. The operator always has a relaxed posture and a straight back while using the Hercules Personal Stairclimber.

There is no strain on the back or arms because the stairclimber is balanced during operation. The operator has one hand on the crossbar and one hand on the UP – DOWN switch.

The handle, battery and lifting unit are all detached using a single lever. You can dismantle your Hercules PS Standard quickly and stow it away in the boot of your car to accompany you wherever you go. Now you can get around town and visit friends and relatives after all.

Climbing speed:
Three speeds can be selected on the control cluster:

  • I = 10 steps per minute
  • II = 14 steps per minute
  • III = 18 steps per minute

Maximum step height:
205 to 230 mm (the maximum is achieved by tilting the stairclimber at a steeper angle)

Battery pack voltage and capacity:
24 VDC 5.2 Ah

Protection against overlanding:
1) Mechanical overload protection (sliding hub)
2) Electronic overload protection

Range per recharge:
Depends on weight of passengers and whether travelling up or down.

However, between 300 and 500 steps can be specified as a rough guide.
If the stairclimber is in constant use, (e.g. professional mobility services) a replacement battery pack can be fitted at any time.

A mobile charger is also available to rapidly charge the battery pack during the car journey.

Main wheels:
Non-marking grey tyres for extremely smooth operation.
PS-Outdoor wheels have a diameter of 260mm. All other models have a diameter of 200mm (outer track width 297mm).

Support wheels:
Also feature non-marking grey tyres and are permanently braked. Diameter 80mm.

Inside frame width of wheelchair:
Minimum 320mm (Hercules PS Adapt and Hercules PS Universal).
