Hercules PS Universal –the versatile professional
The battery powered Hercules PS Universal is a roll-on/roll-off ferry for any make and model of self-propelled wheelchair or sports wheelchair. Reverse with ease onto the platform, secure the height adjustable backrest in place, and take off up the stairs.

The Hercules PS Universal is ready to take on all the stair climbing jobs in your busy working day. Ideal for drivers and taxi services who transport disabled persons in their own wheelchairs.

Choice of models
The Hercules PS Universal is available in two models: PS130 and PS160, denoting their load capacities in kilograms for the wheelchair plus passenger.

Handle every kind of wheelchair with the Hercules PS Universal, regardless of make. The headrest slides up and down easily to adjust to each passenger.

Safe and sound
The integral backrest restraint holds the wheelchair securely in place while you are in transit.

Save time on the stairs
No need to remove the wheels on the wheelchair. Just reverse the wheelchair onto the platforms.

Folds away to save space
The platforms on the Hercules PS Universal hinge upwards to save space.
Just stow the lightweight stairclimber in your vehicle between jobs – nothing needs to be dismantled.

	Technical Data Applying to all models

	Climbing speed: Three speeds can be selected on the control cluster: I = 10 steps per minute II = 14 steps per minute III = 18 steps per minute Maximum step height: 205 to 230 mm (the maximum is achieved by tilting the stairclimber at a steeper angle) Battery pack voltage and capacity: 24 VDC 5.2 Ah Protection against overlanding: 1) Mechanical overload protection (sliding hub) 2) Electronic overload protection Range per recharge: Depends on weight of passengers and whether travelling up or down. However, between 300 and 500 steps can be specified as a rough guide. If the stairclimber is in constant use, (e.g. professional mobility services) a replacement battery pack can be fitted at any time. A mobile charger is also available to rapidly charge the battery pack during the car journey. Main wheels: Non-marking grey tyres for extremely smooth operation. PS-Outdoor wheels have a diameter of 260mm. All other models have a diameter of 200mm (outer track width 297mm). Support wheels: Also feature non-marking grey tyres and are permanently braked. Diameter 80mm. Inside frame width of wheelchair: Minimum 320mm (Hercules PS Adapt and Hercules PS Universal).
